Benefit of Running for your Soul

You’ ve heard a lot f things about the benefits of running, about its harms too… Muscles under pressure, inhale and exhale as swift as wind and moving forward to a goal are effecting our health in a positive way. However there is a lot of people oppose to this idea; they put emphasis on how running force human heart in a high rate, why does it not fit for human anathomy and how it triggers excessive muscle breakdown.

I absolutely participate on the first side, and, claim that running is not only contribute to physical body health but also improves us spiritually. I began with my own experiences, I felt.. I observed the runners around me, as well.

A numerous of charity organizations are collecting donations through “Running” events throughout the worldwide. Hundreds of people join these events just for favour. A simple help makes us feel better, I believe that you’ve tastes. Do you imagine the synergy of this kind of community?

People who run in a routine are converted within, they reflect it through their uprighted-position, more self-confident steps, forward-looking eyes, calm manners… These are too general characteristics, I know. Let’s speak about how it impacts our spiritual health?

1. Target-oriented mind, mind gives what it seeks and soul is satisfied

Sports shape around a goal by its nature. Runners may claim that “Just run for fun, 10k is enough” but in the background of the story no one prefers that kind of challenging activity aimlessly. “Having a fit body, running faster and longer” … After a while we integrate our goals to it, witness how we achieved. Mind hates uncertainty, but loves concentration. We need to have goals and the satisfaction through success for our souls.

2. Calmy Creamy Soul

I was highly aggressive against everything (still but calmer) Being calm mood is generally related to spreading the negative energy. Running feels our spirit so free. My feet flutter like wings. When the wind hits my chest, I feel like I am flying from the ground. If we are restricted, a nervous mood hugs us. For instance the closures due to pandemic… The news and reports had been published about the increasing rates of anxiety. Even an Italian govern yield at the people who run in a pandemic environment. Don’ t blame them, I think it was an instinctive reaction.

3. Call and connect with your inner power

Human spirit is so powerful but many don’ t realize. We can adapt to any hard condition, this is the lead actor in order to survive despite our planet’ s combative history. How we recall the inner power with a body traning? Well, running is hard-give it up is easy. But chosing the first option means that you choose to connect with your power. Introducing with a different side of yourselves. Not only my muscles are getting more and more durable, but my soul also. I accept the cliche of inner power too, everybody has binaries: strong and weak sides. Soul cannot be located one-sided, but when you think about it which one is dominant within you? Compare it with Pareto chart (80–20 rule) Running heighten up your powerful, posivite sides. So your soul vibrates shiny.

These 3 points are connecting various topics within themselves. I don’ t target to vacate the audience to streets with a couple of shoe; but sharing an advice which makes you feel better will make me happy. You can say “there is many ways”, of course, take a step to yourself. If you don’ t no one will.

Like Lao Tzu’ s prominent proverb “”A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”
